Question What is the difference when Rashi says בגמרא מפרש and מפרש בגמרא?
When Rashi comments on a Mishna telling us that the gemara will explain, sometimes he uses the phrase בגמרא מפרש and sometimes he uses the phrase מפרש בגמרא. (see here) Why would Rashi use one over the other (i.e. is there a difference in meaning)?

The beginning of the Jewish year is referred to as Rosh Hashanah. The beginning of the Jewish month is called Rosh Chodesh. How come Rosh Hashanah has a "hey" (ה) in it, while Rosh Chodesh does not?

Question Source of Chasam Sofer's prediction.

Question Making a Bracha on a smell test.
Some members of my family are required to take a "smell test" in order to attend school each day. Are they required to make a bracha בורא מיני בשמים like when usually smelling nice things, or is this considered a special case and they wouldn't have to[^1]?

Question Sitting under the lights on Tisha B'av
In my shul (and i'm sure in others as well), they turn half of the lights off on Tisha B'av night as a way of mourning. Am I allowed to intentionally sit under the lights that are on to help me see my siddur better?

Question pop-up under "tag" bar.
When I am asking a question, and use the sefaria linker, the link goes in the preview (as it should). When I click on it, it pops up, but this happens, with the "tag" bar on top of the information. Its not much of a problem since you can drag the box around, but i think it is something to be noted.

Question Anger advice is only for men?
