Welcome to the Judaism community on Codidact!

Will you help us build our community of learners? Drop into our study hall, ask questions, help others with answers to their questions, share a d'var torah if you're so inclined, invite your friends, and join us in building this community together. Not an ask-the-rabbi service, just people at all levels learning together.

Comment Post #282734 I recall learning that it is permissible for someone who already made kiddush to make kiddush (and drink the wine) to exempt someone else. I'm not sure if this source permitted it just by day or also for the night kiddush, but in any case I can't seem to find it now.

Comment Post #280082 “Merging doesn’t leave a synonym behind”. Is this intentional? Is there no mechanism for synonyms? That would seem to create a lot of extra work to keep the sites clean.

Comment Post #277011 @msh210 It's not universal amongst *chassidim*. See [here](https://www.hebrewbooks.org/pdfpager.aspx?req=42759&pgnum=295) for example, where the *chazzan* says it too.
