Are you bound to the Torah before Matan Torah?
This hypothetical was asked of me by students. They started by asking about time travel in halacha. I did a little research but haven't found an answer to this aspect of it:
If some one were to travel back in time to before Matan Torah, would he still be bound by the Torah as he learned it in the modern world?
It seemed to me almost like a cheftzeh/gavra question -- is a person bound, or is the Torah's existence the important aspect?
