#1: Initial revision
While it is correct to catch all the blood of a sacrifice ([Zevachim 25a](https://www.sefaria.org/Zevachim.25a.9)), it is still valid if not all was caught ([Tosafot, Zevachim 34b](https://www.sefaria.org/Zevachim.34b.9?lang=bi&with=Tosafot&lang2=en)). Additionally, we find the possibility discussed of the blood being divided up into multiple vessels (eg. [Zevachim 111b](https://www.sefaria.org/Zevachim.111b.16)). Presumably, the High Priest utilized one or both of these rules to manage his duties.
