Why do we forgive past incarnations every night?
In the first paragraph of [Krias Shema Al Hamita](https://www.sefaria.org/Siddur_Ashkenaz%2C_Weekday%2C_Maariv%2C_Keri'at_Shema_al_Hamita.1?lang=bi), we say that we forgive: >... > > ...anyone who has angered me, or sinned against me, either physically or financially... My question is on the phrase: >... > >...in this incarnation or in any other... How come every night we say that we forgive people from previous incarnations, it's not like someone can bother us in the past from last night until tonight?
