[status-bydesign] Markdown numbered lists are smart: it doesn't matter what number you put at the start of a line, it always uses the correct number for you anyway - so as long as your line starts with _a_ number and a period, it'll be counted as part of the list. You can see this in action in the preview as you write - the button will produce a 1 every time, but the list items in the preview will be correctly numbered.
