We connect "four corners" of this phrase with the "four corners" of the Tzitzis, which are often called אַרְבַּע כַּנְפות from the Pasuk גְּדִלִים, תַּעֲשֶׂה-לָּךְ, עַל-אַרְבַּע כַּנְפוֹת כְּסוּתְךָ, אֲשֶׁר תְּכַסֶּה-בָּהּ (Devarim 22:12).
