Comments on Mamzer child of a Kohen

Mamzer child of a Kohen

+2
−1

What are the rules regarding a mamzer who is the child of a kohen (and a woman with whom the kohen could not enter into a proper marriage)?

Could the child eat trumah? What aspects of the status of kohen would exist and which would not? I'm not (yet) asking about the effect it might have on the father, but just the status of the child.

I read that and the answers but none mentioned eating trumah and even the other conclusions didn't seem clear

@rosends it says that according to most opinions your case is impossible. Any mamzer would be a chalal not a kohein.
