What is hateful to you, do not do to others. That is the whole Torah. The rest is the explanation. Go learn! ~ Rabbi Hillel

I would like to know the ouisa (essence) of Judaism (the oldest of the Abrahamic Triad of World Religions). There's the Decalog of course, but is there more? I ask because YHWHY and the Decalog have been adopted by Christianity, which, to me, looks very much like identity theft. How does Judaism distinguish itself from Christianity and also Islam?

Judaism doesn't distinguish itself -- the other religions, as offshoots, differentiate themselves, Christianity by the abandoning of the laws and adopting Jesus, and Islam, by adopting Muhammed and following the Koranic text.

Judaism is an exhaustive way of life with many rules and texts which other religions never adopted.

I suppose one reason why I asked the question is Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are clubbed together as The Abrahamic Triad, with a strong current of Messiahnism. Does the difference between the 3 boil down to disagreement on the authenticity of the messengers?

the three are connected because of the supposed Abrahamic linkage. There are distinct differences in concepts of prophecy and a whole lot of other stuff.
