Welcome to the Judaism community on Codidact!
Will you help us build our community of learners? Drop into our study hall, ask questions, help others with answers to their questions, share a d'var torah if you're so inclined, invite your friends, and join us in building this community together. Not an ask-the-rabbi service, just people at all levels learning together.

What is the mission of this community?
We need to work on defining our mission. There are a bunch of questions to resolve about particular scope boundaries. (The first is on language questions, and more should come.), and we also need to come up with an overarching understanding of what our community is trying to accomplish. I think we can work on these particular and general efforts in parallel, with any consensus we build about overall mission informing the discussions about particular scope-boundaries and any consensus we build about specific inclusions or exclusions helping shape our understanding of what we're trying to build, in general.
So: What are we trying to do here? Are we building a library of expert documentation, a collection of experts, a forum for people with shared interests, or perhaps a community in which people can make friends with others who come from a similar cultural background? What is the common theme - expertise/interest/culture that we're building around?

See if you can answer these questions without making a laundry list of inclusions and exclusions. As I said above, we'll do those in other posts.
This question is similar to, but not the same as, the question Monica Cellio already posted about our tagline. That's about summing up the point of the community/site very succinctly and accessibly. I think it could be a great deal easier to do that if we work out a consensus here in more expansive terms. Similarly, some of the aspirations collected in response to this question by Kazi bácsi can help inspire and shape answers here.
