Treif status of hands

If I handle food that is patently unkosher, and it gets on my hands, do my hands have a status of "treif" that might impact my handling of certain things?

Assuming I rinse them with water (whcih might not remove all the residue -- trief cutlery needs much more than a rinsing to allow it to be in use for kosher foods in the future), are there any limitations?

I would assume that I should not handle food until either a period of time passes, or I use a particular method of cleaning them (though i am guessing and don't know specifics about either option) but hat about handling things that are kodeish?

If I feed my dog non-kosher food (the item I have in mind is maniputared in my hands like a putty to cover his pill) can I then put on tefillin? Or touch a siddur?

I don't think the issue is one of tum'ah and tahara but is there a "status" to hands that have touched non-kosher food regarding contact with other things?

Rosends asks a question for which I don't have the qualifications for even the beginning of an answer, but may I reply with another question?

If you are wearing disposable gloves, which is already a reasonable idea for handling food for others, then legally would the pill pockets for your dog be considered not to be touching your hands?

Of course, even if so, the question remains interesting.
