What's the main Jewish Holy Book?

What is the Jewish holy book? As far as I know that is Torah. Even, I had heard that Torah is in Arabic. While searching it again, I found that there's difference between Torah in Islam and Torah in Jews. Really!! Same name but, different context? According to the site, Torah was written in Hebrew. Later, it had translated to Arabic and other languages. As far as I know, some Muslim (rarely) reads Torah. I had met a Jews. I was Muslim at that moment. He was Atheist (Jews by family). I told him to read Quran than, he will be sure that Religion actually exists. He said that he had read Torah (I don't know now which Torah he mentioned). I again told him to read Quran. He said,"Torah is related to Quran". What did he mean? Torah in Islam and Torah in Jews same!? Could you give me source (link) where I can read Torah in English?
